Sunday morning came early!
Why does my three year old like to yell out from his CRIB that he wants to get OUT!
I laid in my bed thinking...why is he still in a crib.
Then I remembered that I LOVE that he's still in a crib, even though he is approaching 3 1/2 years.
I always wanted at least one child to stay in the crib until I put him in a bed. My decision, not the child's or life's decision...mine.
Hunter made the move to a bed at the tender age of 16 months. Delaney came along and helped boot him out.
Delaney started scaling her crib at the "yikes" age of 11 months. She was in a bed by 13 months, due to the sheer fact that we couldn't keep her in her crib!
Dylan has an interesting story. He slept in a crib until we took a trip to Lake Powell. And for some odd reason, the lake cursed him. It ruined his sleep pattern for many years. I like to blame the lake, then it doesn't make it my fault that he slept in OUR bed from 2 years old until 5 years old. Yes, you read that right. I know, THE NERVE.
We used Super Nanny to break him of this habit. She's one smart cookie. Her ideas (from an episode) and this little thing called consistency and POOF!...we broke him of the habit and he landed in his own bed!! Woo Hoo. It was a celebration to say the least!
Well, anyway now we have Luke STILL in a crib. STILL sleeps with a binky. AND yells all the time.
So many habits to break...
Where do I even start?
Not today, that's a start...right?
